Citrus Classification: The Latest Evolution of Our AI Module Citrus Classification IngiGrader Citrus 3.0
IngiGrader Citrus 3.0, our innovative defect detection system based on artificial intelligence, has
been officially launched. This latest version will significantly improve the efficiency of systems
incorporating our citrus defect detection module.
Citrus 3.0 has been developed from its predecessor but optimized in numerous key areas. The
maximum processing speed has been dramatically increased, and all the experience
accumulated in the last few months of work with the previous generation has been integrated.
With IngiGrader Citrus 3.0, the maximum operating speed of the machine will no longer be a
limitation. We have managed to increase our processing speed several times above the
maximum capacity allowed by the mechanics. The Citrus 3.0 module can process up to 30 fruits
per second in multiple capture when working with citrus, about three times the actual working
speed of the mechanical part.
This remarkable improvement in the system is due to the optimization of the decision network,
the increase in computing power, and the improvement in image capture and processing
efficiency.
Currently, we are working on the next generation of the decision model. Our goal now is to
increase the size of the database used for the generation of the neural network that implements
the decision model by one or two orders of magnitude. Additionally, we are exploring the
application of this system in the classification of avocados and mangoes, and soon we will begin
the first tests in real working environments.
We will keep you informed of everything.
